How “triple time” works in Queensland
Every hour of daytime driving with an accredited driver trainer counts as 3 hours in your logbook, up to a maximum of 10 actual hours (30 logbook hours). After that, hours with a trainer count as normal. A night trip with a trainer can count as triple time or night hours, not both.
Learners under 25 need at least 100 logbook hours, including 10 night hours, and the logbook must be approved before the test. TMR asks you to submit it at least 12 business days before your test.
