Testing somewhere else? Test Day can be arranged for other centres too. $300 applies to testing centres around the city. Prices may vary for testing centres outside our usual service area.
Before your test
Queensland practical driving test checklist
- Your learner logbook is approved by TMR (under 25s). Submit it at least 12 business days before your test.
- You’ve passed the hazard perception test (needed before you can book).
- Arrive 20 minutes before your test time and register inside with a customer service officer.
- Bring your licence. A Queensland Digital Licence is fine, but your phone must be off during the test (keep it charged).
- Bring proof of identity (overseas licence holders need full evidence of identity).
- A registered, roadworthy test car with L-plates correctly displayed, its registration number, and the owner’s permission to use it. With our Test Day package, that’s Henry’s car.
- A current medical certificate, if you have a medical condition that may affect your driving.
- Expect about 25–35 minutes of on-road driving for a car (class C) test.
- Blind-spot mirrors and reverse cameras don’t replace head checks: you must still look over your shoulder and all around.

Rescheduling or cancelling? TMR asks for at least 2 days’ notice (2 business days to cancel), or you lose the booking fee. Failed a class C test? You can re-sit the next day after a first attempt, 8 days after a second, and 29 days after a third or later attempt.
